Plastic Lumber Limited Warranty


1. Limited Warranty

We provide 50 years warranty for our plastic lumber products against cracking, splintering, splitting, rot, delamination, and structural damage due to termites or fungal decay, beginning on the original date of purchasing from Winstar.


2. What is not covered

(a) Any claims, losses or damages because of expansion and contraction

(b) Products fading, or variation of the color,as these changes are intrinsic to the products


3. Warranty Service

(a) Winstar will promptly repair or replace the defective products, or refund full purchase price for the products only (excluding labor). Refunds only apply for the defective parts which Winstar determined. Not include other parts purchase from us or others.

4. Exclusions from Limited Warranty. The Limited Warranty provided in Section 1 shall not apply to the Product if any of the following events has occurred: 

(a) The product has been subjected to abuse, misuse, overload, improper maintenance, fire, accident, force majeure or environmental pollutants.

(b) The product has been installed, fabricated, used, or maintained in any way inconsistent with the standards of practice within the building industry and the written guidelines for design, use, installation and other technical data provided by us.

(c) The product has been repaired, modified or altered without the prior written approval of us or by someone other than the authorized personnel, representative, agent or subcontractor of us.

(d) The product is not designed, installed, used, fabricated or maintained in accordance with applicable laws, regulations or industry standards.

(e) The product is damaged by movement and/or collapse of the ground or structure on which the Product is installed.

(f) The product occurs scratches, dents, stains, soiling or discoloration occurring in the normal course of usage.

(g) We have not received full payment of the invoice price for the Product.
